One of the children in our class taught us the Mandarin words for apple and sweets and showed us that Chinese writing is very different to English.

We also exchanged conversations in French, made Eiffel Towers out of newspapers and performed songs in French.

We enjoyed celebrating European Languages Day.

Whole School

Each week we have a new greeting or challenge to do.

These signs are displayed all around our school and changed weekly.

We celebrate all of the different languages spoken in our school.

Our classes at Waltham Leas are animals and we learn how to say these in French too.

We enjoyed celebrating European Language Day.
