We are proud to say that we have gained our Silver and Bronze Lincolnshire Reading Pledge awards. We aim to further promote the value and pleasure of reading. Our intention is to inspire a love and enjoyment of reading for the children that will carry through to adulthood.  We want them to be enthused about books, and experience the joy of immersing themselves in a text. 

Throughout the year, we will be working with our Reading Ambassadors to hold a number of events, including Reading Buddy sessions, StarBooks parent and child reading cafes and author visits as well as introducing a number of ways to encourage the children to engage in reading for pleasure.
