Starting Foundation in September 2027
School will have an open day in November 2026 for parents to look around the school for children who will be starting Foundation Stage in September 2027. Please ring the school on 01472 822419 to book a time slot for this term if you would like to visit once our dates are shared.

We would like to welcome you and your family to Waltham Pre-School and Out of School Club, providing childcare and pre-school education for children aged 0-11 years in the village of Waltham in Grimsby and surrounding areas.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of childcare and pre-school education in a relaxed, caring and happy environment which is safe and secure and allows all children the opportunity to develop skills, concepts and knowledge through play.

National statutory testing
Statutory testing takes place each year in Foundation Stage, Year 1, Year 4 and Year 6.

Year 6 SATs will take place during the week beginning Monday 10th May 2027, Year 1 phonics screening will take place during the week beginning Monday 14th June, Year 4 Multiplication testing will take place during the 2 weeks beginning on the 7th June.
In addition to these dates, please do not take holidays in the month of May or June for Year 2 children, as school will carry out non-stautory testing during the week beginning 24th May and 7th June. Thank you.
